The owners have tended to all the finer details in order to offer you an inspiring retreat in this gorgeous Haliburton lakefront property. You will be staying in a newly built, beautiful log home loaded with amenities. Bliss cottage is perched on a sloping landscape amidst the treetops, peering out over sparkling Little Kennisis lake.

The 4-seasons cottage boasts a living room with cathedral ceilings; gorgeous stone chimney fireplace; expansive windows overlooking the lake; a dining room with stunning lakeview; a fully equipped kitchen; three bedrooms, including a spacious master bedroom loft; a separate sleeper bunkhouse; and a large deck with a screen-enclosed gazebo and open air hot tub.

A canoe, paddleboat and a 20 horsepower fishing boat is included with which you can tour beautiful Kennisis Lake. We are located 20 minutes from Haliburton, Ontario, where there are many shops, a grocery store, a movie theatre, and several restaurants. The cottage is about a two and a half hour drive from Toronto.

ACTIVITÉS À PROXIMITÉ

Summer activities: Aside from fishing and touring the beautiful Kennisis Lake system in our outboard fishing boat there are many other trails and parks to explore nearby.

Right around the corner is the Haliburton forest (http://www.haliburtonforest.com/) which offers many unique activities including a submarine lake tour, the Walk in the Clouds canopy tour (the longest treetop boardwalk trail in the world) and the opportunity to observe a wolf pack.

There are several golf courses in the vicinity and a visiting spa service will visit our cottage to pamper you if you are interested.

Winter Activities: Dogsledding, downhill skiing/snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing. As mentioned above, a visiting spa service is available to make that romantic getaway extra special.
