CARACTÉRISTIQUES
Tranquility Base is a cozy, unique cottage in a wilderness-like setting. Its glassed, see-through, large deck gives you a panoramic view of the river and the wilderness around you. Those who enjoy a more natural, private setting will love this spot. The beautiful, screened Muskoka Room is ideal for dining in the evening, with full view of the night stars. A vacant, treed lot is on one side of the cottage. The neighbouring cottage on the other side is well below the deck, allowing for privacy while you relax or enjoy your meals outside.


DESCRIPTION INTÉRIEURE
Tranquility Base offers a kitchen area for cooking, (coffee maker, microwave, stove, fridge) a small dining area, including a round wooden table with wicker chairs, a cozy living room, with a pull out couch and day bed. There are three furnished bedrooms and two bathrooms (1 4-pc, 1 2-pc). A separate furnished bedroom is off to the side of the beautiful Muskoka Room and offers privacy for older children or guests. We provide all dishes,(including glasses, wine glasses and cups) pots, serving trays and cutlery. We also provide pillows, some comforters and blankets and teal towels, dish cloths. Guests must bring their own bedding and towels.

The screened Muskoka Room contains a dining set and a second fridge. You can dine at the benched table in the Muskoka Room or at any of the three patio tables on the deck or in the kitchen. Several patio chairs are provided.

The cottage is ideal and better for a maximum of six people (4 occupants and two occasional guests). It is better suited to older children (over 14) because they must swim from the dock into the river.



DESCRIPTION EXTÉRIEURE
You have full access to the beautiful Severn River. Your rental also includes a canoe (with paddles and life jackets) and inflatable floating tubes for relaxing in the water.

We also offer a beach volleyball net and badminton net for some fun in the sanded back yard of the cottage.

The deck of this cottage is one of its most unique features. This cottage is at one of the highest points of the Severn and you have a panoramic view of the nature around you. Wildflowers, rock, wooden unique step entrances and a full sanded area in the back are just some of the unique features of Tranquility Base. You can enjoy the warmth of a fire at the fire pit in the evenings or at night. The fire pit area has unique benches and a deck.



ACTIVITÉS À PROXIMITÉ
You can cruise the Severn all the way to Georgian Bay or cruise in the other direction through to Trenton and on. The Muskoka Wildlife Centre on Hwy 11 offers an educational experience for animal lovers. You can shop at the quaint shops in the near-by towns and villages. Visit the Farmer's Market in Gravenhurst and pick up some fresh vegetables for dinner or buy a unique gift. Enjoy live entertainment or a theatrical performance at the Gravenhurst Opera House. Savour a delicious meal on a day or evening cruise on the Lake Muskoka or enjoy a cruise of the Severn and Lake Couchiching. Orillia offers Casino Rama for a fun and entertaining night out. You can also enjoy a game of golf at one of the world-renowned golf courses in Muskoka. Children love Santa's Village and the newly-opened water park in Bracebridge.
