Fantastic SOUTHERN EXPOSURE on LAKE ROSSEAU provides sun on the decks and docks all day long through sunset. Cascading Oak, Birch and Pine trees provide shade on the upper and lower decks of the cottage. The cottage is golden Pine wood inside and out, beautifully maintained, cathedral ceilings, with wood beams. Large windows provide lake view while maintaining privacy.

The cottage is located at the top of Lake Rosseau in Sucker Bay (part of Morgan Bay). Sucker Bay is one of the most coveted areas in Muskoka. The area is know for its minimal boat traffic, great for water skiing and sports, evening boat cruise, canoe or paddle boat ride, and swimming down/across the bay. Importantly, the property is private with great neighbors, neither of whom you can see from the decks.

200 ft of lake frontage This home is a five minute drive to the village of Rosseau, also a great run or bike ride. The village of Rosseau is quaint, great for ice-cream cones, antiques, baked goods and the general store. Also, the farmers market by the docks every Friday is a must. The Rosseau Docks has a fantastic beach, playground and swimming program. Our home is about a 10 minute drive to Minett, and The Rock (world class golf), 20 minutes to the Lake Joseph Club/Port Sandfield.

You will find yourself transported to an incredibly beautiful and relaxing world: Pine log home, surrounded by granite rocks, clean clear water, tall trees. A place I never want to leave, and always want to return.

The living room is great for entertaining and has a floor- to- ceiling granite stone fireplace. The cottage has a separate dining room and kitchen, beautiful antique furnishings, a satellite, new high quality mattresses and a new barbecue. Unfurnished walk out basement has small bedroom (the 4th), living area, bathroom and wood burning stove. Traditional wood Muskoka furniture on the decks and docks.

Deep water single slip dock and generous “L” shape provides ample room to spend the “day on the dock”, and cocktails at sunset. We also have a small sandy shallow area great for young children and a swimming dock.

World Class Golf at THE ROCK--10 minutes away (boat or drive). Windemere Resort--Boat for dinner and drinks on the Veranda (15 minute boat ride). Farmers market in the Town of Rosseau every friday--10 minutes. Rosseau Marine and Beach Playground--swimming lessons available there as well. Lake Joe Club for lunch dinner--20 minutes.

$3600/week for July and August.

June, Sept and Oct available for rent as well at a lower rate.

We prefer to rent to people who will look after it as thought it was there own. Two weeks minimum. No smoking or pets.
