This 4-season heated and air-conditioned log-construction lodge is located just steps from beautiful Norcan Lake and 15 minutes from the Calabogie Peaks Ski and Golf area. The Lodge is ideally suited for family gatherings, reunions, large groups and special purpose meetings. The interior is beautifully finished with many exposed beams and the extensive use of wood throughout. A large wrap-around deck offers beautiful views of Norcan Lake and there is plenty of seating from which you can enjoy the view.

There is excellent fishing in season for bass, walleye and pike and the many pan-fish provide lots of fun for the children. A 13 lb 8 oz small-mouth bass was caught just up the lake some three years ago. It would have been the new world's record had the angler not chosen to eat it.

The variety of wildlife you may see is amazing. Birders will not be disappointed with the many hummingbirds, grosbeaks, sparrows (all kinds) finches, warblers, ducks, eagles (Golden and Bald), partridge, wild turkeys and herons. Please see our website at www.canontolodge.com for some beautiful photographs, many of which have been taken by our guests. The safe sandy beach is great for building sandcastles, wading and swimming. Two complimentary paddle-boats and a canoe are provided on a first come basis. A horseshoe pit is also available for your enjoyment and there is plenty of lawn on which to play badminton, volleyball or toss a Frisbee.

Please see our Facebook page at "Canonto Lodge" for more photographs and information. We would be delighted if you would "like" our page, follow us and become a "friend" of Canonto Lodge.

Boat rentals are available provided they are arranged in advance. (please see our website for full details). There are three large docks available for your boats, right across the lawn in front of the cottage.
